Who we are
We are a non-profit organization and our mission is to make children's world a happier and better place. Although our main activity is to support and help provide the basic needs of children living in Africa or in other parts of the world where it is needed, we do not forget about the children living in our country. Children's needs may vary depending on their living conditions and situations, but this does not mean that any of the needs are less important. And we want to be there for the children and do our bit to ensure that they have a happy childhood, if only for a little while, which will help them grow into strong and healthy individuals with faith in themselves and a better world.
What we do
I regularly travel to Tanzania several times a year to do some good deeds and warm a few children's hearts. We support those most in need. We provide them and their families with food, sanitary supplies, clothing, medicine, uniforms, help with school fees and much more. Since this activity is non-profit, we simply cannot do it without your kind support. And the more good souls that join in, the more children's faces we can light up. In order to help ourselves somehow, we have been thinking for a long time how to combine our two worlds together and benefit the children living in our country and at the same time to secure funds to carry out our charity activities. This secondary activity is provided to children, families and schools in the Czech Republic for a fee and all profits are used to keep the organisation running and support children in Africa.
Our team
I have been working with children and youth for 17 years. I graduated in social and charity work and most of the time I worked in the non-profit sector. I have worked mainly with socially and economically disadvantaged children and youth. I ran my own non-profit organization for 6 years. Also I have had the opportunity to look into the field of education where I have worked as teaching assistant, school assistant, educator and leisure teacher. However, I also have wandering shoes and love to be in constant motion which allows me to develop, learn, discover new things and people and helps me grow. I am currently travelling between two homes. And wherever I am, my biggest goal is to do what I like and to be there for others, especially the children who bring joy and happiness into my life, and to do good deeds because they warm my heart most of all. We all want to leave something behind and so I want to leave behind as many shining children's faces and sincere smiles as I can, even if it's just for one day.

Chale, as everyone calls him, is my loyal partner and my right hand. He is helping me immensely in Africa. He comes from the foothills of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, and has a genuine love for his country and community. He studied history and political science, but soon after graduating he started working as a guide on the highest free-standing mountain in the world. His passions include farming, caring for the environment and the local community. He not only helps me with our charity activities, but we also work together on other projects. The main one is our banana plantation that we are slowly establishing and we would like to share the profits from the sale of bananas, as well as part of the harvest itself, with children, schools and people in need living in the area in the time to come. Although Happy Childhood is my personal initiative and continuation of my career path, I am certainly not alone in this. Without my family supporting me in all my plans, Chale by my side, the local community and all of you who are supporting us, I could hardly realize my dreams. Thank you!
